Sweetwater Photography: Nashville Crowd Welcomes Chris Young Home!

If you want to start off your US leg of your current world tour then you start it off BIG by having a concert in your hometown at the new Ascend Amphitheater!

From the first act, Cam, the fans knew the show would be amazing. Bringing hits like "Burning House" and "My Mistake" this young songstress' career is sure to blossom before our eyes. The good times continued to roll with Jerrod Neimann who sung hits among crowd favorites "Lover, Lover" and "Drink to That All Night". Neimann even surprised fans by bringing out Diamond Rio to sing a track they collaborated on on his upcoming album.

Many of the fans in attendance traveled from all over the country.

Young knows how to put on one heck of a show, starting off his opening song and party tune "AM" with a bang with pyrotechnic effects.

The fans welcomed Chris to the stage with a standing ovation and kept the crowd on their feet until the very end.

Chris' infectious smile never left his face during the show and he continued to thank the fans for their unending support, not just at the show but for the many years it took him to get to this point in his career. He even mentioned one of his first show's at El Chico, a Mexican Restaurant less than 5 miles from the venue. The proximity of his beginnings to The Ascend Amphitheater may be close but his career has grown leaps and bounds from being paid in tips and quesadillas. Before he sang "Lonely Eyes", Chris mentioned his good friend, Johnny Bulford who co-wrote the No. 2 single. The night continued with surprise guests when Young brought out Brad Paisley on stage during "Change the World" song, Chris couldn't contain his excitement as he sang along with Brad Paisley. The fans let him know how much they enjoyed the show by the thunderous applause!!

Young sang hit after hit along with his chart rising single "I'm Comin' Over". At the end of the show Chris came out for an encore to sing "Getting You Home" and my personal favorite "Drinkin' Me Lonely", ending the night with the Doobie Brother's "China Grove". Chris left his fans with great memories of an amazing night. Better yet, Chris left the stage knowing his fans loved him enough to show up on a Wednesday night in the rain to hear him sing. What a great way to spend a Wednesday night hanging out with Chris in Nashville, TN!

Until the next show, his fans will have great memories that will last a lifetime.
